Recruitment in this era is changing. We jump from seeking a candidate who fits with only job responsibility to the candidate who fits both in job responsibility and the team’s culture that they need to work with. Other than that, the recruitment field becomes more aggressive, and sometimes the recruiter is more active than the candidate. Seeking talent is not easy, but it is not difficult if we know the technique and tactic, which can save our energy. To sharpen and update new recruitment competencies, KEEN Profile and BSA were working together on the project Recruitment Competencies Training in June 2020.
We started the training session design by analyzing the development area for all recruitment competencies in every touch-point of the recruitment process. Our consultant worked closely with BSA’ s recruitment team to identify areas of improvement from both the management and recruitment teams.
The two days training session was conducted with experimental and interactive activities. All participants had a chance to participate and practice in all activities. The content of first-day training was focusing on the area of job post, interview, and decision-making techniques. On day 2, we moved to the area of candidate coaching, consultative recruitment, and how to use KEEN Career Finder for the recruitment process.
